Ryan Crawford, Director
Ryan was born and raised in Unionville, Missouri, which is located in Northeast Missouri. He graduated from Central Christian College with a Bachelor of Arts double minor in Counseling and Music. After graduating, Ryan moved to Tennessee to work in the music industry, where he represented several recording artists as an Agent and Business Manager.
The late 1990's, he opened his own Insurance and Financial Services Agency. After almost five years of building this business, Ryan accepted an offer to join the Tennessee State Executive Office for Farmers Insurance as the Life Sales and Marketing Specialist. In late 2003, Ryan was promoted to be a Division Marketing Manager in the Illinois State Office. In the summer of 2006, he was asked join the Minnesota State Executive Office as a Division Marketing Manager to continue building the Farmers team. During his time in the Minnesota State Office, he has been involved with several projects. The most recent was working in Home Office for the Distribution Strategy team. Ryan was recently promoted to be the Director of the Business Development Center in Mason, Ohio.
In 2008, he was awarded the Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF) designation by The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He served as a Board Member and Communications Director for the Greater Twin Cities Division for the March of Dimes for more than three years. He was the Vice-President of the Wild Meadows South Homeowners Association.
Ryan has been married to his wife, Christy, for 10 years. They have two children, Kylee and Gavin. They reside in the Mason, Ohio area.
Rhonda Richter, Department Assistant
Rhonda is our Department Assistant with the primary responsibility of ensuring the Farmers Cincinnati Business Development Center functions smoothly and effectively. She is responsible for all areas of support from systems to software. Rhonda has an expansive knowledge in administration with more than a decade of experience. Rhonda resides in the Cincinnati area with her son Chris.
Sarah L. Duncan, Business Operations Supervisor
Sarah is responsible for the daily business operations of the Farmers Cincinnati Business Development Center. Sarah has been with Farmers and the insurance industry for 2 years. Her main roles and duties include licensing coordinator, recruiting coordinator, advertising, daily business operation management of the Center and processing Reserve and Career contracts. Sarah is a graduate of Muskingum College with a B.A. in Art, specializing in Graphic Design, and minors in Business and Speech Communications. Sarah was a four-year letterman for the Lady Muskie Basketball Program where she was a two-year Captain, a participant of Business Club and Kappa Pi Art Club. Sarah currently resides in Centerville with her boyfriend and dog Oogie.
Adam E. Davenport, Performance Manager
Adam has three years of experience in the insurance industry. Adam's daily management duties are solely dedicated to assisting Career Agents in business planning, marketing and successful agency growth. Adam attended college at Shawnee State University, Portsmouth, OH, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. Adam was a two-year captain and a four-year letterman for the Varsity Basketball Team at Shawnee State. He is a member of the West Chester Chamber of Commerce.
David A. Brown, Recruiting Manager
David is responsible for all aspects of recruiting for the Cincinnati Business Development Center. David has an extensive background in Banking and Business Success, and has been with the Center for more than a year. He is a member of the Fairborn Chamber of Commerce, along with many other Chambers in the Cincinnati Area. David attended San Diego Mesa College & Wright State College where he obtained his degree in Social Sciences Education. David comes to our Center from Dayton, OH, and now resides in Lebanon with his wife and son.
Jason M. Fooks, Agency Trainer
Jason leads the training and development of new agents in the Farmers Cincinnati Business Development Center. Jason is working on his 3rd year with Farmers Insurance, which when combined with his past experience in the insurance industry, allows Jason to deliver a wealth of information to the agents. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree and received his master's from Xavier University. Jason is community minded, a member of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board of Directors for Greater Cincinnati Big Brothers & Big Sisters. Jason also volunteers his time to the Marvin Lewis Community Fund as well as the Anthony Munoz foundation.
Brian A. Talbot, Agency Trainer
Brian also leads training and development of new agents in the Farmers Cincinnati Business Development Center. Brian is a Cincinnati native who received his Bachelor's in Marketing from Xavier University. He comes to us with four years of insurance experience as a personal and commercial insurance lines agent. Brian's insurance experience enables him to communicate with the candidate the excellent opportunity of being an agency owner. Brian is an active member in the American Marketing Association, Crosstown Help-out Committee and Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce.
Fatima Reed, Recruiter
Fatima is responsible for interviewing and selecting qualified candidates for the Farmers agent opportunity. Fatima is a Cincinnati native who received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of Cincinnati. Fatima comes to Farmers with over 7 years of recruiting experience as well as 2 yrs of experience as a claims adjuster. We are very excited to welcome Fatima to our Farmers Cincinnati Center Team!
Kaelin Burnette, Recruiter
Kaelin is responsible for interviewing and selecting qualified candidates for the Farmers Agency Opportunity. Kaelin is originally from Chicago, Illinois and has come to the Cincinnati Business Development Center from the Farmers Illinois State Office. Kaelin has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Southern Illinois University. He currently resides in Landen.
Matt Weissman, Recruiter
Matt is responsible for interviewing qualified candidates for the Farmers Agent Opportunity. Matt is a Cincinnati native who received his Bachelor's degree from Northern Kentucky University in Public Relations and Marketing. Matt has extensive experience in sales and business success. He and his fiancé currently reside in Hyde Park with their dog Marley.
Beth Johnson, Recruiter
Beth is responsible for interviewing and selecting qualified candidates for the Farmers Agency Opportunity. Beth received her bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton and her master's degree from Xavier University. She has an extensive background in marketing and sales from her work with the Xavier University Athletic Department and a major Cincinnati-based multimedia corporation. Beth is actively involved with Xavier Athletics and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She currently resides in Newtown.
Sarah Jahnke, Marketing Specialist
Sarah supports our Agency Trainers to ensure the Reserve Agents have adequate marketing plans and systems in place. She helps build and execute plans to make all marketing ideas comply with the Farmers philosophy. Sarah graduated from The University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She volunteers for Hamilton Co SPCA as well as various soup kitchens in the Cincinnati Area. Sarah currently resides in Hyde Park with her dogs Kuma, Karma, and Samson.
Ashley Gerwin, Manager Trainee
Ashley attended the University of Toledo, OH, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with concentration in Communications. She was a four-year letterman for the Toledo Women's Soccer team, where she also participated in numerous local community service programs in Toledo and the surrounding areas. Ashley is originally from the Cleves, OH area and is in the process of buying a home in Hamilton, OH with her boyfriend.
Noah Stelzer, Manager Trainee
Noah is a manager in training. He has multiple duties and responsibilities in all facets of the Cincinnati Business Development Center. Noah is the Center's Life Specialist, helping Reserve and Career agents successfully process life policies and tracking. Noah is originally from Bryan, Ohio and received his Bachelor's degree from Miami University in Organizational Communication. He currently resides in Hyde Park.
Christopher Zapanta, Customer Service Representative
Chris is another wonderful Customer Service Representative in the Cincinnati Business Development Center. He is responsible for the customer support for all Reserve Agents. He assists agents with writing quotes and new business, along with policy changes and customer support. He moved to Cincinnati from the Cleveland area in 2001. Chris graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. Chris was a full-time parent for many years prior to joining the Farmers team, with 14 years of Financial Services experience. Chris resides, with his three boys, in Anderson Township.
Theresa Lawson, Senior Customer Service Representative
Theresa is the Senior Customer Service Representative in the Cincinnati Business Development Center. She has been with Farmers for more than a year and a half, but has been in the insurance industry for more than 10 years. Theresa has many roles within the center. However, her primary role is working aside our Performance Manager assisting our Career Agents and their staff members with everything from billing questions to training on the Farmers systems.
Vannessa Morgensen, Agent Administration Clerk
Vannessa works as our Staff Assistant in the Farmers Cincinnati Business Development Center. Vannessa is responsible for the professional and efficient managing of visitors, potential recruits, telephone calls and messages, as well as a variety of clerical duties that support recruiting services and presentation of a professional office. Vannessa became part of Farmers a little more than a year ago. She is currently attending University of Cincinnati to complete her Bachelor's degree.
Trevor Snowden, Recruiter
Trevor is responsible for interviewing and selecting qualified candidates for the Farmers Agency Opportunity. He is our bilingual recruiter, so his focus is on finding Spanish-speaking agents. Trevor received his bachelor's degree from Miami University, OH. He has more than 10 years experience in Management, Sales and Recruiting. Trevor is also a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Cincinnati. He currently resides in Hyde Park.
